CF existing non CF parts??

Since most people buy CF parts for looks only, I was wondering is there a place that can take a wing, mirror housing or any other piece, sand it, put a sheet of CF on and clear coat, should cost a hell of allot less and give the same CF look. Does anyone know of a shop that does this well?
I'm surprised body shops don't offer this service.

You need to bake carbon fiber, it's not as simple as putting a sheet of it over any body piece and shooting a clear coat. But if you're going for the look, might as well just go out and buy the carbon-fiber tape and wrap your stuff in that. It'll be lighter than trying to cover existing stuff in real carbon fiber and cost a lot less.
