What is a SLIGHTLY larger rear wing for a Turbo?
I want to keep a factory look, with a wing that is just a little bit wider. (The GT2 style wings don't do it for me as I already get enough attention from cops and kids in parking lots.) Any reccomendations? Thanks.

On a more serious note, this sounds perfect for you: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ing-996tt.html
Seller (KJ) is a good guy!
You might want to take a look at the Strosek style Edwin (PrecisionPorsche) has as they look nice. I went with a Fiberglass/Carbon look one from a 6speeder (it is from Maxspeed). I can post a pic of mine later if you want to see what the maxspeed looks like
If you want it SLIGHTLY larger than the oem wing, go with the TA style 1

If you want it slightly more aggressive than the TA and less than the gt2 add-on, I'd recommend the strosek

One word of caution, I bought the TA style one the first time around and it seems like quite a number (if not all) the TA style add-on wings will sit on your decklid. I ultimately sold mine partly b/c of that. If you get the real thing, i'm pretty sure it won't have that problem

Do you have more pics of the Strosek in the down position? Most of the photos I've seen show it up, and I leave the wing in auto all the time, so I only really care about what it looks like down. Also, what do you mean about the TA wing sitting on the lid? Do you mean like the factory wing just sitting flush? I kind of like that. It makes it look like it was supposed to be that way.
Thanks Edwin. I've checked out your post more than a few times.

Here it is in the up position

The porsche (as you know i'm sure
) has the decklid base and the spoiler that goes up and down. The decklid base has the third brake light. If you raise your stock wing and look at the underside of it, there's a little cutout/indentation made to fit over the brake light on the decklid base. The TA replica wings (that I have seen) doesn't have that cut out resulting in the base of the wing sitting on top of decklid. That didn't bother me so much as the hydraulics pulling the wing down more than it's supposed to go. If you get the TA wing, make sure there is a small gap when it's in the down position like here on my strosek style wing

Hope that helps!
Edwin

I had a real techart wing (that I bought from a board member EZ Money) it aslo sits on the stock decklid and will scratch your paint. Not teh bigges deal, since the wing covers it.
IMO The Strosek replica wing offered by precision is the best and is very unique in a world of mostly techart and GT2 wings. I'm saving up up to buy one. How about a group buy?

Wow, the real TechArt did the same thing? That's surprising to me.
Thanks for the kind words. I can run a GB for those that are interested (5 committed and prepaid buyers
