PSS10's installed, ride ht different right to left, align first or fix ht? PIX inc

Hello all...had my PSS10's installed...great ride so far....I'm in my "settling" period prior to alignment....however the ride height is lower on the left than right....should I fix the ride height issue or get it aligned then fix it.....the front left wheel does have a little more camber than the right..could this cause it to sit lower? Just wondering if alignment process would be off if done with ride height not right.

Also, I'm looking for damper advice....they really sloppy right now....it's my daily driver, so not too stiff, but not sloppy and bouncy like it is now....it will have the GT2 alignment specs..

thanks guys...here's some pix..sorry for iphone pix

When they do the alignment ride height is adjusted first.
Corner balance is optional but you probably won't need it for DD.

thanks for the all the responses....I've tried everything to get the car to even out...the right side is adjusted all the way down and the left is adjusted all the way up and the @#$% car is still right side up by atleast 1/4 inch.....i know, a 1/4 inch is not much to complain about but its the principle of the matter. Is it going to matter that the two front coilovers are adjusted so different? the car rides like garbage and bounces all over the place....getting an alignment tomorrow morning..hope it helps.

here's the damper specs:

6 in front, 5 in rear

Here's the height specs:

from the installer= 1/4" threads showing all the way around, right side of the car higher by 1/2"

From my new settings= front is 3/4" thread left, no thread right, car is still 1/4"high on right.

rear still the same

thanks guys

Weird. Look at the springs and make sure both uppers, and both lowers have the same P/N.
I had just the opposite experiance. My stock suspension had big diff in ride height, when I put on the PSS10,s it was square.
I did find that with mine, to get the ride height right, I went with the max height of 90mm rear, and 220 front. The rears were too low, and went two full turns more compresion rear.
I'm at 26.25" Rear, 26.0" Front (Measured at CL wheel ground to underedge of fender.
Damping, 6 F, 7 R.
H&R Bars, Full Soft F, Med set R.

Good luck. Something is funky....

If you can’t go lower I think something is not fitted right sirgolfalot. Just had PSS10’s fitted yesterday. I corner balanced the car and when that was done (empty car) the car was 13mm higher on the rear right. We decided to lower it to the same height as car looked ridiculous and wrong to me. Be damned with corner balance for the street. Anyway, for ease of measurement and to help this talking point, I have dropped it to 640mm at the rear and 635mm at the front (ground to the top of wheel arch lip). I could lower car for another 20mm I am sure. Adjusters still have plenty a room to go further. Recheck your installation.

something does not sound right.... I had pss9 installed... and we were able to adjust them all to make the car level in the front & rear side to side... and I am sitting very low.. ground to center start of front fender lip 25 1/4" & rears are 25 1/2" to fender lip

Maybe your new suspension needs a few days to settle into position. They do that. Your setting of 5 and 6 are fine for the street. There is not that great of a difference between settings, but it is better on the track at full hard in the rear and 1 or 2 clicks from hard in front.

Take it to a shop that knows what they're doing and/or know about Porsches and PSS10s. I had the same issue as you, in fact made a thread about it. When I took it to get aligned they told me, basically, that the chassis is so stiff that one corner affects the other ones. Apparently there were spec's in the box of what to set the ride height to so everything evens out.

Don't know about yours mate but my clicks make a huge difference. I went from 5F/5R to 6F/4R and the difference is notable. Less oversteer, less bounce, less steering response and more understeer.

Two threads that have problems with the PSS10's. I was interested but now I am having major second thoughts about this setup.

yea..that was me.....thanks for all of the responses guys....i finally got it right or at least close. I took it to a great place here in San Diego Clarence Brown alignment...they were great and knew exactly what to do...they set me up nice and didnt break my wallet. I don't have any specs to post on here yet, but I will soon. It's amazing what a proper alignment will do for ya...I do know that the right side is adjusted all the way down and the left side is adjusted to match....(it still has some adjustment left...weird huh) anyways, I have it set very mild to help with tire wear. thanks again guys...
