New lugs? I remember some vehicles need (tuner lugs) when you purchase aftermarket rims because the stock lugs will not fit anymore. Is this the same case with the 996TT? Or will the stocks be ok?

soothsayer is infamous around these parts
If your new rims need spacers, then you need longer lugs to compensate for the size of the spacer.

No spacers scenario. How about the correct offset for 996TT. Can you still use the existing oem lug nuts? Or do you need (tuner lugs)

Really depends on the wheel manufacturer. Some wheels will use oem lugs and others will provide a set of new ones.

Some aftermarket wheel use a different seat than OEM as well. Cone versus ball seat. VERY important to check and make sure you aren't using cone type lugs on a ball type wheel, and vice versa. That's how wheels fall off.

I agree.....it is best to avoid......wheels falling off.

What are tuner lugs?

Ah, good tips, I will make sure. Tuner lugs are aftermarket lug nuts used on vehciles that have aftermarket rims which do not accept oem lug nuts or whatever reason

Nuts?
Pretty rare for Turbo wheels (aftermarket or otherwise) to use nuts unless we're talking bolt-on spacers.
