FWIW I thought I wanted a super low mileage 996tt too. As it turns out it's much harder on a car to sit than operate. Seals dry up, etc. I found a 13,000 mile 02 that I was happy with. Also a car with 5,000 miles is going to command a hefty premium (at least the owner is going to want a premium).
