they look fine, so does that mean that nuts have not changed position, loosened?

I had a similar experience months back, I assumed it was my DV's. However when I went to replace them, I pulled out my OEM DVs and F-Hose to find a small clear vacuum line was loose(broke at one of the joining sleeves). I replaced my DV's/f-hose anyway for good measure, however I'm pretty sure the broken line put my car into limp mode.

SIC996 is infamous around these parts
Rods do not seem to have loosened at all. Dealership says to lubricate wastegate?? This is taking the fun out of things

Lubricate the wastegate or the diverter valves? These are different animals.

I think they've got the terminology mixed up....I'm not aware of any lube points on a wastegate. Now with the diverter valves...yes...depending upon the brand, you can take them out, unscrew them at the top and take out the piston and spring....then you can clean out and lube up the barrel and piston and reassemble it. It's recommended you do this at least once a year....but opinion seem to vary on this issue.
