with a proper tune the 24/20 and the 18's - no lag! i sware i have been racing for 23 years now and i have had big block cars, nitrous car 2 stage nitrous and turbo cars, the 20's feel like my clutch on or off!

the lag is not in the turbo's, its in the tires spinning wildly!! as you are pressing on off the accelerator!!

My car is all F$%ed up! Both pre-cat o2 sensors are bad and the secondary pump has a leak in one of the hoses. I took it to a shop this morning, both o2 sensors are being replaced and I will have them fix the leak and see what happens. The car is supposed to be making 1.4 bar but is only making 1-1.2 bar. I think its running super rich too because its been shooting out flames at cars behind me. Pretty cool to see but not good for performance. Hopefully my baby will be fixed and I can get some more performance out of her.

By the way I was getting 2.0-2.4 60' times. The car was pushing through the breaks if I went higher then 1800rpms. I even got the red light on the first pass because of it! Cars were running extremly slow that day. My friend brought is 335i and he usually runs 12.8@114 was running 13.0@108. Stock Z06's was running 11.9x@118-119. So im sure on a better day better track I could have done a better job.

I cant wait to get a new tune with an upgraded TCU that raises the rpm limiter and quickens shifts, high stall tq converter, and my custom tranny cooler. Then I will see what happens.

I was under the impression that you were gonna get the tranny fixed, TCU tuned and tranny cooler on. I thought you weren't going to drive it much until all this was fixed, let alone go to the track with it?

The tranny is fine, still waiting on someone to come out with a TCU upgrade and the tranny cooler will be done at the same time as all my other tranny work to save money on labor hours and down time, I am having the ATF and the tq converter changed out as well. I was bored so I went to the track. I was pretty easy on her, only did 2 passes with about 1 hour cool down between runs. Looking forward to getting her fixed up and seeing what she does.

In that case Corey, make sure the AWD is off meaning the shaft is removed and PSM off mode. This will prevent breaking shafts that will happen at that power level you have. Those look meaty and will provide you with much better performance, man if you just listen to me things are gonna be good. If you were in AWD mode and like Dio says the tires broke loose then track preparation was $hity, very, very $hity....

I don't know anyone who broke a driveshaft.....axles ,yes, but you are at risk of breaking axles with DR's unless you upgrade the axles. My advice would be to leave the front diff operational if it is in the car because removing the driveshaft will not stop you from breaking the axles. Also with the driveshaft removed you are still turning the front diff and axles regardless which will rob a little power so might as well keep the shaft in and use it to power the wheels.

I busted up axels and its not fun. I would not go RWD coz on a daily basis the awd can save your butt, and I know this maniac(cor) drives so. KEEP IT AWD. Joe is right, you swap out that shaft and you gonna strain something else too much and snap crakle pop flatbed home!! Put the tire on so you can maintain traction down the 1/4, keep your 1.9-2.2 60 footers and we can all do the math, for the IF YOU REALLY WANTED TO.. we'll shave according to, and get a good idea what you will trap if you launched hard. NOT WORTH the headache just to prove a point. YOUR car is stupid fast, you will break something!! hold your ponies son!!

I agree. I have no interest in breaking my car to prove a point. I am OK with "only" going 11.3 @130. Actually I went 12.3 with a 3.0 60ft. They told me I was going home if I went 11.49 or quicker...
