No issues with the fuel heating? Sean's (SRM) billet hat and a 340lph pump is what I'd go with but the stock hanger could take one of those pumps too. The Walbro are thinner but if you put a decent sized worm clamp around them the tail sticks out whe tightened and holds it like a spring in the hanger. Mod the wiring and off you go. Size of pump depends on power. Not used to systems that run a consistent pressure, I'd think tuning that would be a pita.

i sent him a pm with sean's contact info. he has everything needed to run without a fpr and a brushless pump in the srm hanger. whether he wants to spend the cabbage to do it right one time or not is up to him. fwiw i run a walbro 465 in the stock basket for duty under 5 psi. once the motor is back ill swap to the sam brushless setup and ditch the fpr altogether

Steve - what do you mean you'll dump the FPR? Big power boosted car you would want the 1:1 FPR.

Brushless DC motors behave similarly to AC motors, voltage does not change, the motor timing is controlled by a bank of mosfets. Currently have a single pump in my car the same size as a walbro 450, using almost half as much amperage fueling 1000whp on ethanol including the syphon pump system. Very exciting times

Dudes I still don't get it. I need to do some research on these pumps. I still don't really get it. Does the proEFI control the pump? LOL I'll start googling.

Funny part is, you wont find any information out there, its relatively new to aftermarket, and I am currently the only guy in the US who has these pumps for the next 3 months believe it or not lol

I found a Fuelab Prodigy pump. DC brushless driven pump. "Digital fuel delivery, more durable, more efficient and lower current draw". 10AN inlet / outlet. $440 from speedway motors. Looks external to me though so would need to run a surge tank type setup, etc. Just FYI.

Not the same at all, the fuellab pump can't hold a candle to this

This little gem flows in excess of 700lph, uses less power and drops right into our existing kit.
