How's your TT doing with MPG?

We just drove over here to West Yellowstone from Portland Oregon. Average was 22.5 mpg and 74 mph. Max speed on the gps was 126 mph. Approx 780 miles total.

I figure the 22.5 mpg is not bad considering I had my foot into the car pretty good going over the mountains. I'm truly convince this car is made for the open road. It really is a different animal once you get out of the city and all that start stop business.

Any way, we have two weeks to spend over here again and the roads are 996TTerrific!

I average about 21 overall, but much of my driving is 55-60 on country roads.

To go with that you could have it flashed for more power and that will work with the cold air intake. Both should not run you more than 1600.00 and could give you a noticeable difference.
No cold air intake, but I do have the Revo flash. I had the car set to stock mode for the dive over here because the mileage seems to drop off in the sport mode.

14 mpg stop and go to the office (daily driver in Hotlanta).
22mpg on road trips.
The above data sounds credible.

16mpg stop and go...21-25 mpg on the hwy.

Avg, 18ish. Wing probably took 0.3 to 0.5 away (downforce front and rear (winglets too) is noticeable at speed....I really prefer it...).

DE: it used about 1/3-1/2 tank per 20 minute session at VIR....so about 9 gallons in 20 minutes...full on with instructor in the car....

On my one and only big road trip to California I saw as high as 23 mpg out of my reflashed 996TT and was definitely impressed with the fuel economy. It seemed to get its best gas mileage if I averaged just over 70 mph too...pretty cool.

average is about 17 mpg- city and highway.

Once, I pegged the cruise control at 65 mph, 6th gear and reset the trip computer and was getting 30 mpg!

I also did a similar experiment trying to always shift below 2000 rpm and just use 1st, 4 and 6th gears and got about 24 mpg in the city although I was going realll sllloooowww

When I'm driving my monster with cruise control and keep it below 80MPH, I can average 26MPG on the interstate... Around town it can drop to 15mpg if I get stupid with the gas pedal...

On the track, I average less than 3.5MPG!

I'm at 19.1 combined average.

Can get about 23 on the highway for road trips.
