I figured, based on other sales I paid a bit highbut the new tires, and CPO warranty did it for me. I have had a new Porsche (Cayman S) and the ability to drive in to the dealer and say "fix it please" is a GREAT feeling and worth the premium. Especially with an "older" that is built near the limits of it's capacity.

Basicically flawless, beautiful and straight.
can you explain that statement please, i dont understand

I dont mean this car cannot be modified way beyond it's production form and still be a great reliable car. Porsche made a fantastically powerful and capable car that they know will be reliable and not cost them in warranty claims. Of course we mod our cars way beyond the production level but it is not the one that Porsche sells and warranties. I think it is near the comfortable limit for Porsche without re-engineering the car into something different (GT2, etc).
Also, I always modify my cars. This is the first car that I am willing to delay mods until my warranty expires because it is such a capable and powerful car.

Who gave you the warranty Highline? did you have to pay extra for it?

Congratulations on an amazing deal on a beautiful 996TT!

However, it seems only one other person noticed the trap speed the OP quoted. If the car ran a 127 mph trap speed at the track then it's already modified a bit. If that was supposed to be a 117 mph trap speed, it could well be bone stock. Considering the ET was a 12.2x I'm assuming it should have been 117 mph myself, but something to consider if the car really ran a 127! You may have lucked out even more than we thought originally. Best wishes!

Highline did get the warranty for me but I did pay for it I would rather not say how much I paid but I got a good deal. The people there treat me great. As far as my time at the track, my 60 foot times are not good I am not really that experienced at the track. I ran that on a Sunday I have gone since and run usually 12.20s to 12.40s at 118-120 and my 60 foot times still suck. I do think that the 127 was a rare run but that was my las run of the day when I was really getting the hang of it. The other times at the track I was starting from a dead stop and not building my rpm's. I need more practice.

It's tricky to launch these cars correctly, make sure you stay off the rev limiter as well.Sometimes you can get a good run at the traps and pull a high MPH run out, do you remember what your E.T. was on that run?

I ran a 12.21. My friend has a 2003 911 c2 he was running 13.3 at 109 with no mods but his 60 foot times were great.

Great deal. But what I can't figure out is why a Porsche dealer would auction a X50 that has a good history? Why didn't the dealer pick it from PCNA and sell it at the dealer?

It was a porsche Minn. The car originally was bought in CA but was turned in or traded in Minn. The car is pretty well optined up. Supple leather, crest in seats, Zenon Headlights, Leather center console, Parking sensors, Bose Radio, Baseball stitching, clear bra, rear wiper and def. Cloor matched gauges plus I got all books and both keys and finally after owning a 2000 and a 1999 A GLOVE BOX AND A CUP HOLDER the may be better than the turbos. Nah.

One question for anyone who know should I run the 1/4 with or with out PSM on

And a thank you to my wife who got me the stock car experiance at Pocono Raceway for my Birthday.

You've seen nothing yet. Go to the APR Tuned (goapr.com) website and find a dealer near you. You will truly see and feel the potential of your car. A TUNE will run you about $1,900.00. Good luck, nice ride.
