Dr_jitsu vs liter bike
Keitha 997tt made 740rwhp rans 60-130 in 5.4sec on 1.4bar/racegas
dk996tt 997 gt2 made +700rwhp rans 60-130 in 6.0 on 1.3bar/pumpgas
dk996tt 997tt made 860awhp ran 60-130 4.86 on 1.65bar/racegas
wonder what dk996tt 60-130 would be if he boost it up!!
comparing with 996tt w/GT30's on bone stock engine/heads/cam the 997tt ran quicker!!
I wonder how fast the 997 gt2 would ran with GT3582R's
The car will be for rolling 60-70mph
Appreciate the input, though.

No. With that setup (GT30's) at 1.41 BAR it made 830 rwhp on a Dyna-Pak...which is app. 780 rwhp on a dyno-jet. 4.90 was the best 60-130 time, averaging 5.2-5.3.
When I raced the modded 'busa, I was on the old setup (GT30's), at only 1.1 to 1.2 BAR. So I was in the lower to mid 700 rwhp range.
With the final setup (GT35's), my old car made 890 rwhp (on the same dyna-pak) at 1.5 BAR. 4.67 was the best 60-130 time with that setup, with 4.9'ish being average.

Ahhhhhhhhh that makes much more sense! Thanks for clearing it up for me. When someone asked about his old setup, I was thinking that just meant his old car since he nolonger has it. But wow those are some impressive numbers. Scott when are you going to get back into the Porsche game and what will you choose?
Hate to ressurect an old thread but in 2009 at the Supra race I went 4.48 60mph to 130mph on my bone stock GSXR1000.If you think you can honestly outrun a good rider on a well prepped liter bike let me know and we can meet somewhere
Can you specify which model year GSX-R 1000?
This is going to start a huge debate. People need to realize that bikes under a certain MPH are EXTREMELY fast, but they do suffer one problem when they hit a certain speed. That would be aerodynamics, and it is very noticeable when you watch a bike vs car video because if they go from like a 40-160 or 60-160 roll the bike will USUALLY jump out a few cars lengths and the car will pull the bike as it gets high in the mph area.
Food for though though, when it came to the Busa's design it is a little bit different. At a certain speed, because of the design, the Busa creates basically it's own air pocket because of the way it cuts through the air. This is why you do not see 1000cc bikes doing 250+ in the standing mile. Yes there have been skinless bikes (well it was still a Busa) that have set records, but I've been explained by the people that have hold the record as to why they can do so. It isn't a 100% because of the power they make.

Michael is that an extended swing arm? My 8.9 @ 151 was a 5.79 @ 124 mph. I was out of gear at the 1000ft so I road the rev limiter out the rest of the track.
No offense though I have a HARD time believing you went that fast on a BONE stock bike in the 1/8th. Unless you all choke on the back end of the track which I doubt, I don't see a stock bike trapping 155-160mph. Does the bike have n2o on it or any other power adder since the motor has never been opened.

Adams swingarm,MR12 oxygenated fuel,Power Commander v with autotune,Brocks Alien Head exhaust.Earlier that same night I went 9.07 at 153 in the quarter but only went 5.94 in the eighth mile.Oh,it also has a Hays Machine works engine driven multi-stage clutch. But it honestly has no engine work whatsoever.I also only weigh about 145lbs
