Dr_jitsu vs liter bike
My car is going into the shop for another round of mods and I am hoping to eventually run a low 5 second 60-130 and that would have to be in optimal conditions so no, there is no way that I am going to beat anything that is running a 4.48.
The modded 'busa I raced a while back at only mid-boost (730-750 rwhp) had previously run a 9.1 @ 155 on his bike. You'd think he would have beaten me...rather than the other way around.
Never underestimate how well a fast roll-on car can do against a liter bike at high-speed...regardless of who the rider is. An experienced bike rider still can't defy the physics of wind-resistance and low overall power ("low" meaning relative to a 700+ rwhp car).

Adams swingarm,MR12 oxygenated fuel,Power Commander v with autotune,Brocks Alien Head exhaust.Earlier that same night I went 9.07 at 153 in the quarter but only went 5.94 in the eighth mile.Oh,it also has a Hays Machine works engine driven multi-stage clutch. But it honestly has no engine work whatsoever.I also only weigh about 145lbs

It likely is very true. My 2001 stroker runs exactly what michaelmatthews bike runs. There is a guy here that has an 07 also, and runs exactly the same numbers. I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it myself. The new gixxers are fast(er).
Back when I ran that race it was BONE STOCK.Pump gas ,stock exhaust, etc
My 2001 GSXR1000 ran 9.71 at 143 bone stock. It dyno'd 147 on my buddy's dyno. As I said, my 2001 with a stroker motor (1140cc bored and stroked) are about as fast as the new bikes. These new bikes are WAY faster.
