More & more are doing it though: Ferrari, Maserati, Lambo, Audi, VW (soon), Toyota, BMW, and Aston Martin. I think I heard that MINI will be getting it, Porsche 997 will get it (Audi DSG actually), and either Ford or GM was working on one. I think it will come in time.

The answer is that it is very expensive to make a sequential gear box that is capable of handling the torque that most car engines produce. In order to do it, you usually have to use straight cut gears which are extremely loud and rough.
That is why the gear boxes mentioned above are traditional h-shift helical cut gear boxes. They just have computer controlled shifting.
