Sorry to hear your car is out of the competition Fred. Better to be safe and not risk the motor. You'll have to go get em next time, hehe!

Best of luck to the rest of the akkurat guys!

Yes unfortunately I am out of the competition. My SCar Go CF Intake must have been hit by some rock on the freeway this morning. The CF piece went into my engine and shot my turbos. So as we don't have time to check the entire engine compartment I don't want to take the chance of blowing my engine.

I am disappointed but what can you do. All I do suggest is that anyone who has SCar Go Intakes, wrap them up multiple times with duct tape or something. They do produce great numbers but are very fragile. It has happened to me now 3 times!!! and some other folks as well. It's just bad luck for me. FVD makes a nice kit that is safer in my opinion.

Well here are pics from todays event.

Fred, Didn't you change your suspension to JRZ shocks? Were they installed according to the S Car Go carbon intake installation instructions? I would love to see a pic of the point of impact in relation to where the suspension part hits if this is possible. If the suspension rotated and hit it, then all the wrapping in the world wouldn't save the carbon fiber.

I just talked to Fred and he's out unfortunately, I guess his turbo's went on him. He wasn't too happy when I talked to him so I don't know the full scoop. He did tell me that Todd's car hit 830WHP and 819WTQ .
Congraduations to EVO for beating the Gemballa 750R EVO by eighty rwhp. I believe they now hold the new official record.

My guess is if it is anything like the Gemballa motor, the boost was probably between 1.7 an 1.8 bar and the car really jumps starting at about 5000 rpm's.

Chad the Gemballa car was only running 1.3 bar I know this because my mechanic built the car.Our car has 850 @ the crank @ 1.2 bar. You dont have to run crazy boost to get high hp.
