dropped the driver's side window tonight to reprgm the ECU back to stock for smogging tomorrow (failed it on wed/calif...) and now the window won't come up.... (nothing to do with ECU btw)....it makes a scratching cracking noise when i put the UP switch on and like wise on Down switch....

my friend had the window down on sunday to take some dents out of the door....they slide in a plastic shield btwn the window and body to keep from cracking the window.....wandering if he may have slipped or pushed down some window open/close mechanism/track ???
