Any input on OZ wheels?

I would like to change to a differet set of wheels, lighter than the current stock soild spoke. I would like some feedback on these OZ wheels http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand

Also considering getting a set of used factory hollow spokes and having them powdercoated/painted in matte black.

Thank you in advance for your comments/suggestions.

ABCar is infamous around these parts
I like those, they remind me of one of the champion wheels another member has. Would you get the darker grey?

That's a nice lookin set of wheels, there. I know that OZ makes THE LIGHTEST motorcycle wheels in the world, top notch quality, too.

I will have to take a closer look at their line up, knowing that they make
car wheels, too!

Query: Marchesini is also considered one of the very best wheel manuf's
in the motorcycle world. Porsche wheels? Anyone?

Oz wheels are very light and make great track wheels. Rear offset is different than stock. Will you need spacers?

I have a set of OZ Superturismo GT rims for the track. They are full magnesium and strong enough for street use. The rear 18x12s weigh 18lbs. They are not too expensive either ($5800 Australian for the set, so about $4000 USD).

Thanks guys for your “thumbs up” on the OZ’s. I guess this would be better than getting some used factory hollow spokes and having them to be repaired and powder coated/painted, cost would be about the same.

Need to check out the anthracite and the matte graphite silver in person to see which would look better.

Good to know that no spacers are required.

Wross996TT those are really nice and super clean wheelsJ

Just for the record, the O.Z Superturismo GT´s are cast Aluminum, not Magnesium.
