I've owned both. I really liked the c4s..i liked the look of a wide body without a tail, and the sound of the PSE was incredible. However, it ends there...the turbo is in another league. Read up about the engine differences and you should be sold...one's engine is basic, the other is legendary.

searching the threads..... seems like the c4s motor is a ticking time bomb with RMS failure and that internal piece. likely pay now or pay later......... i think i'm off the c4s train and looking at turbos

I agree. I bought Roger Penske's personal 2001TT with tons of options and I was almost too afraid to put miles on it, then I said F**k it! You only live once!

I never ever go a day without that car putting a big smile on my face! Go Turbo!

I don't use mine as a daily driver. But she would be perfect!!

The only negative thing is that she's so fast, you need to practice hard on respecting speed limits in a way. I mean that!

996C4S is pointless. Porsche should not have put an "S" in the name without adding more power.

Anyway, I owned both. Get a Turbo!!

I bought my Turbo as a weekend toy. It's such a great car that it's now my daily. Unless I need the extra seats for passengers. But if your choice is a C4S or a TT, there's no choice. TT is so awesome. Just DO IT!!!!
