New Wheels and painted bits...PICS

I took a few pics of my latest mods. I am going for a theme here, nothing chrome or shiny. I think the car looks much cleaner and fresh.

-DPE S7 Signature series 19" wheels. 19x8.5" front and 19x11.5 rear
Brushed outer lip with a satin black face

-Nitto Envo tires 235/35/19 front and 315/25/19 rear

-Painted lug nuts. I had to clean them with a wire brush and paint them with high temp ceramic paint.

-Painted lower rocker panels

-Repainted front bumper, license plate plugs filled in

-Painted exhaust tips, satin black

-New license plate frame, satin black with brushed aluminum "Porsche" logo

Thanks! They are so much easier to clean since the lips are clear coated.

I'm also a fan of no chrome or shiny Stuff. But how did you prep the lug nuts so they won't chip when you loosen and tighten them?

I cleaned each one with a degreaser and a wire brush. Then i painted them with a high temp ceramic paint.

After they dryed over night, I lined a socket with a strip of electrical tape. The tape creates a protective barrier so that not to chip the paint on the lug nut.

It worked fairly well but i still had a few chips. I touched up the chips with a small brush.
