I really wonder what Stage 2 HAMMER Computer Calibration & Stage 3 Computer Software Upgrade & EVO's Proprietary GIAC Stage 4 Computer Software Upgrade.

Does it really make hp difference compared to stage 1 ECU setting?

If so, How many hp difference?

I Tuned my ECU at PES. and didnt see any stage 2 or 3 ECU tuning. and never heard. I thought there was only 1 ECU setup.

I got ECU first and exhaust just yesterday.

Should I resend my ECU and let them re-map it with stage 2 or 3 ECU tuning?

Oh.. and if I change k-16 turbos to k-24, should I re-map it?

 

Every tuner using different programming (Protomotive, MTM, GIAC etc) have various stage upgrades. I have never used a PES upgrade so i can't say what their ecu upgrades are like but if they are using their own programs and not just buying from other vendors then maybe they have not created higher stages thus far.
As for upgrading to K24's, you will certainly need ecu upgrades to work hand in hand.

 

Your tuned GIAC/PES ECU will work fine with your new exhaust. We do offer a Stage 2 "Hammer" file which is good for another 15-20 HP over the GIAC software you currently have. Stage 3 and Stage 4 ECU upgrades both require the larger K24 turbochargers. Our Stage 4 software with K24 turbos generates about 600 HP and 640 TQ. PM me if you have any questions. Take care

They say 72HP gain, thats first reason I got it from PES. (and closest location)

Then can it be compared to EVO HAMMER setting?

 

Stage 3 include K24 turbochargers.

and Stage 4 incl. header.

am I right? then I should wait til I get K24 turbochargers.
