ok got this part the sound is coming from the riders side of the motor. it will chirp only after the car has been off for 15min. thanonce the motor turns over (and starts) very quickly i hear a chirp.. coming from the right side soooo it's not the dvs. when i reach full boost at the top of 3rd gear i hear it again only it's a quick chirping sound. if i roll the acculator no chirp . it gotta be air leaking under presure, but why so pronunced at startup??

 

Mine is doing the same thing recently, trying to find it. It chirps on start-up always when cold but most of the time when warm. Then under heavy throttle will chirp two or three times, but on does it sporatically. Car drives and feels fine. Checked the pulleys, replaced the belt, even started it without the belt to eliminate the pulleys or belt, and it still did it, odd. Sounds like passenger side on my car also. Actually makes the chirp or two a split second before the car starts. Not Starter either. Problem is that is is not frequent enough to be able to isolate it yet.

 

my boost stays right on watched it from 7 to1.3. mh chirping is very consistant at the top of gears when under load it will not chirp on high revs at a stand still. am doing a smoke test mon will post results good luck

 

Mine is not a consistent chirp. Almost always at startup (and usually chirps before the engine actually catches and starts) and sometimes under load it will chirp 2 or 3 times fairly loud, but does not seem to be at all related to rpm, and does not seem to chirp any faster at high rpm load than low rpm load. My boost also holds very constant 1.3
