PSS9 & HRE540 installed on the Yellow Beast!!
Friday afternoon I found myself driving into Lucent Motors in LA for my appointment to install the Bilstein PSS9 suspension. I walk in and Tom gives me the 411 that Arling has a set of 19" HRE540 in Brushed that will fit my TT. I take a look at these beauties and fall in love. I spend the day working at Arling's desk dreaming what they'll look like on my car and I hear the distinctive sound of a Ferrari and something else roll into the Lucent parking lot. Holly S$#T, Arling rolls in the Stradale and next to him is William's Carrera GT!! No longer focused on the HREs I walk outside and am beside myself. Wow! What beautiful cars!
Well, 2 hours later I find myself in the Carrera GT driving down Sepulveda with William at the wheel! Let me tell you, William can "drive" the GT very well. Whatever idea I had that my car was fast was quickly put to bed as he pushes the GT just enough to make her scream and put a GIANT smile on my face! All I can say is the Carrera GT is simply AMAZING! I didn't get a ride in Arling's New Red Beast but I'm hoping I'll have the opportunity later!
I left on Friday without the HREs but with a very low and "slow" TT-CAB, well slow in comparison to the GT! I came back in on Saturday with the G-Friend and with her blessing pulled the trigger on the HRE540s. Wow, what a difference beautiful wheels make!!
Many thanks to Arling and Tom for steering me in the right direction! These guys are great!
