Hey guys,

Sitting in my driveway, got this thing soooooooooo close. Now that I have the drivers for the cable properly installed, I know I need to tell the flash loader to use COM6. But I have tried hitting every button imaginable and don't see a dialog anywhere (my dad said he saw one when he tried this from a different laptop, but I'm not seeing it here). Is there any way I can force this app to use COM6? I'm 98% sure that's all I need!

You need to talk to Tony, not us.

 

Maybe Tony can make up a PDF "how to" for flashing. I see a lot of guys on here with problems flashing their cars including myself. It is very frustrating to have your car sit and not be able to get a hold of anyone. Just an idea.

 

FWIW, mine only ever shows COM3 and COM4 as options.... sorry I am no help.

 

Unfortunately the one things we cant support remotely is com port settings. That is 100% on the users machine .

We track and log each issue that an end user has while flashing. In 3rd 1/4 of this year we have 4 open flashing issues (you being one) and 317 successful flashes.

I think making a statement says "alot of guys are having problems" is unfortunately not a correct statement.
