Could my chirp be a loose plug??
Could my chirp be a loose plug??
the car is on the rack gas off, the chirp seems to be coming from the middle of the head, only when the piston is firing underpresure it has to be an air leak,if it was a head gasket seems like i would be loosing coolant, and that we could see some leakage marks , nothing ,could i have a loose plug that looses air as the piston reaches its top cycle forcing air out?
hear it every time we get to that cyclinder but no smoke escape anywhere, the chirp comes from that area and is caused by air, can't see the plug from the underside, but the chirp is way louder from under the car the chirp is only 5th or 6th turn with fuel off so motor will not start
yep it was the plug pulled it little black tracings where the leak was what a relief!!! big thanks to ben at salerno motor sports in rocklin, for sTaying late and pulling the plug. came up the plug idea about 4:30 and the car is home and safe at 6;06 AT LEAST 15 MIN TRAVEL TIME ON A FRI NITE THANKS AGAIN BEN
