Front Differential dilema need Expert Help:)

So, I got the car on the lift to track down a noise comming from right under the seats when letting of the gas and the driveline has some "slack". Basically a little whine.

Well the good news is that it's not the Tiptronic trans, but when I had my buddy get the car to do 75mph while on the lift I tracked down all sorts of issues with the stetoscope.

1. My front control arms are shot. Sad as I just replaced them a year ago and barely put 6000 miles on them, not sure if it's the vendor(DautschePartsUSA on ebay) or chicago streets, but the rear control arms are solid and were original. The fronts however are the culprit and both balljoints are loose and the bushings for the cross arms are torn. Good thing I noticed because it didn't chop up my front tires yet. I called them up but they told me its past the 1 year warranty and wouldn't work with me at all on this issue. Instead they offered to sell me a new set at
their ebay price.

2. My trans mount is shot.

3. There is a noise coming from the back of the front differential, right where the driveshaft enters. I've been trying to find a detailed diagram of the front diff as I'm gonna attempt to take it apart and change out the bearing in the rear part of the case but after reading throught the whole 996tt parts catalog and repair manual I'm yet to find a diagram showing individual parts, part# and specs. The repair manual only shows how to change the half shaft seals and how to replace the viscous clutch.

Anyone has any detailed info on the front diff? Who makes it? Alternative part#??

If I take it apart I promise to make a nice DYI

I am not sure about the differential. But, I have had bad experiences with deutschparts on my Audi. I can't voutch that the Porsche parts are any better. My experience may have been a representation of a somewhat uncommon occurance too. Another thought is that some control arms require torqing with the suspension loaded as if it were on the ground. This takes the constant twist out of the some of the rubber damper portions of the ball joints(inner). Incorrect torqing will cause early failure on some types of control arms. Best of luck on the differential.

Well just to give you guys an update on the issue, I ordered some Delvac 75w-90 so I can start messing with the front diff and while doing a little bit of research on it I found out who makes it
