Where's the stock boost solenoid at?
Okay, I have a Greddy EBC installed in my car however it doesn't seem to be working properly. The settings have been deemed correct but I'm no wiz with the damned thing, it displays boost, it doesn't modify boost - I see .8BAR max, it used to his 1.2 no problem. I am considering moving to the stock solenoid with a flash to control boost. My current boost solenoid is on the passenger side bolted to the motor mount. I see no sign of the OEM wiring and I'm not sure where it would mount but I do have it in my possession. I believe some of the OEM hoses were used for the Greddy solenoid though so that helps.
I'd appreciate some help finding the wiring and some instruction on where to mount the solenoid. Can't find the OEM wing wiring either - I have a GT2 wing but get that danged spoiler warning. Getting boost back is most important to me though! Where do these harnesses route?

The stock boost solenoid is located 1inch right of the throttle body...it is gray and it has three vacuum hoses and a connector...If you can not find it and reconnect it properly it should be better to get the car to a pro in order to avoid any serious damage to the engine...False connection is really a problem...
Its right behind that black AC hose and the pointer is on the black line going to it.. that's the pressure line going to side of Y pipe from the control valve...
you need to take it out... and connect the 3 lines to the greddy valve PROPERLY...

Thanks guys, that's a clue anyway! the current Greddy valve IS in properly and WAS working. However sometime with my mishaps getting the car from Indiana this past summer something went wonky. I had been able to pull 1.2BAR just fine but when I finally got th ecar home and felt confident enough to get down in it I was getting .8BAR. Obviously something ain't right! Am well aware of what can occur if the valve isn't hooked up right and am happy that this one appears to have failed such that I'm on W/G boost. There's only two wires running to it and i'm told the box's settings are right - shouldn't be THAT hard to screw up but yet something has failed. Possibly just a bad solenoid, I really do prefer ECU control... On the plus side my tune limits boost by closing the throttle plate so I do have some safeties in place though I will obviously not lean on them - no fishtank valves for me lol
I will peek under there today and see if I can figure out WTF. My tune has the solenoid table zeroed so swapping it right now won't do anything but I'm trying to figure out how hard it will be to go back to the ECU control aside from the obvious reflash...
P.S. If anyone is running an Greddy EBC I'd be interested in their settings just for a sanity check. I have no reason to believe mine are off and suspect a solenoid or wiring issue but it couldn't hurt to be sure!
