buying a pre-owned 6TT - how many miles is too many miles
dont be afraid to push em down i offered 10k under their asking price to start settled in the middle somewhere but i secured my own finiancing and was dealing with a exotic used car dealer.
Service History is more important then miles if you plan to keep the car. the value for resale seems to diminish a bit after 60k miles for average buyers. but id rather own a car that had a stack of recepts and 70k miles then one with nothing and 30k
there are alot of nice cars out there if your into stock low miles black on black there a nice one here in houston owned by a 6speed member ive checked out. anchracite is his name

Any 996TT is potentially vulnerable to it. This used to be a sticky:

Berk,
Glad to hear you are looking to make the switch! Also something to keep in mind, if you are looking for speed, it may be worth it to keep an eye out for 6speed members who already have done a 650 kit or something...will save you in the long run. IMO, the car needs to have at least 600hp+ for fun to begin!

OS - excellent points my friend!!!!
Jack - dude, I wish I had your car. I for sure want a well documented 6-speeders car w/ like a 650 kit (or something more than stock) but not sure if they can be had for the high $40's/low $50's.
