Lost boost help
Hmmm... that's P1249 in my version fo the manual. Must be the year difference. I'm not 100% sure what year my manual is for.
P1250 Boost Pressure Control Deviation - Above Limit
Possible fault cause
♦ Bypass flaps incorrectly adjusted
♦ Turbocharger faulty
check the wastegates!
Here's the page from my 2001 Porsche 996TT OBD II DME 7.8 manual. Strange... there is no P1250, and P1249 seems to cover this. Do I just no know how to read the manual???
And here is 2pages after that one...I can not offer any comment about your literacy...perhaps your service book is missing pages?

Ok new maf sensor arrived i cleared all codes , fitted it and went for a drive the car drove fine but when i got back the code P1250 was back. I have since cleared the codes again and re fitted the standard box with the new sensor, went for the same drive and no codes
Neil...code P1250 IS NOT the MAF...did you read my post....you need to check the wastegates...look for cracks and or possible out of adjustment.
Wanna comment now on my literacy - or maybe I'm just an "outlier"?
Jon
Wross996TT I know that is not the code for the maf , the maf code has cleared with the new sensor. What i dont get is why the P1250 boost fault code is only coming up with the AP intake box and not the Standard box ? The car is driving fine with both fitted.
Did you check your wastegates? Forget about the intake for now.
Yes wastegates checked and are ok, also did a leak test and it is leak free at 1.5 bar. The car is now boosting as normal but only bringing up that code with the new intake fitted.
