996 Turbo / GT2 Turbo discussion on previous model 2000-2005 Porsche 911 Twin Turbo and 911 GT2.

What chip/tunning program doesn't suffer low-end torque loss?

To correct the wheel HP, I use 12.5%. 600 Crank HP - 12.5% = 525 wheel HP. A 12.5% correction factor is a very conservative number. I think most people use 15% on a 2 wheel dynojet. Hope this helps. Todd

I am curious. Looking at the EVO graph and the AWE graph below, there is a difference. AWE loses lowend touque while EVO doesn't.

Since the GIAC stage 4 software and the K24 turbo are the same, the only difference is in the exhaust and header.

Which one made the difference and why?

Are they the same size impellers? Are they both ceramic coated? Does one have polishing work?

Sorry I wasn't clear. The AWE package retains the stock header. The EVO program replaces the stock header with their own (description on the website. they mention something about equal length).

Board members who are more knowledgeable, please correct me if I am wrong.

AWE has 300 cell exhaust and EVO has 100. Not sure they make a lot of difference on the low-end torque.
