How did I do on this purchase

Ended up buying an 04 deep-green (special order paint) exterior, beige interior, 6sp coupe with 29K on it. Car has only a few options: nav, heated seats, memory. The car has a remainder of the CPO warranty until 3/15/10. 9.0/9.0 on exterior/interior. Bought it from a private person for $47K. Came with original sticker + all the paperwork. Also noticed that there is an aftermarket exhaust system. Need to figure out which one it is.

Not a spectacular deal, but my CU had a 3.25% loan promotion which was ending and I didn't want to miss it.

Congrats! U Gotta post Pics!!!
Sounds like a fair price with lowish miles....what services on the car were done? Was the 30K service done? Were there any issues with the PPI?
Sounds like a rare color, would love to see it.

30K is left to me. No issues with PPI. I've chosen this car over 02 car that also had a CPO until march, 33K at $42.5 and a few extrior dings. I figured 2 years in vintage are worth the money.

Based on watching the market for some time now I would say it is a good deal. I am guessing you got a good deal based partly on the color. Congrats on the purchase and enjoy the new car!

Whoever paid $2.6K for a privilege to order this crappy color needs to have his head examine indeed.

Sounds like a good deal to me! I def want to see it. I think that color combo would look good - dark green and tan interior!

Well, it wouldn't be my first choice. But at least it isn't the aquamarine colored one.

In other good news, the car also has what undoubtedly appears to be an "Agency Power GT" exhaust system on it. It is a bit loud for my tastes, but I'm sure than in due time I'll get used to it.

I also inherited a remainder (~3 years left) of the tire and wheel warranty, as well as a dentless body repaire warranty. Not sure how useful these will be, but nice nonetheless.

Ha ha, yeah that car is hideous! I looked the other week and it is still on eBay and still way overpriced!

Would be a good track car if they would take a low ball offer! Then gut the interior!!!

I have to admit that I did place an offer on that car in hopes that they'll sell this abominable odiosity for under the market value. However, they actually got offended with my offer, saying that "the car this unique should be worth more than a car made with more common colors" or something in that regard.
