Mark, They screwed up and don't want to own up. They kept blaming the tune from the start, they obviously wanted to sell their tune.
Overall, they installed my clutch and injectors - No issues there. Its only when they put the exhaust back they swapped the o2's. It would have been much easier if they can first read the codes and diagnose the issue like a good mechanic instead of blaming the tune from the get go.
They for sure lost my business and several others...Overall , my car is fixed and runs great now. AMS did a quick and clean job no bs to deal with.

Thanks Jon, Still want to do a DE maybe sometime next year and will ask for you to be my instructor for sure.
Your car will be so fast, I might make you drive the whole track in 6th gear.
Name 'em and shame 'em. The code even suggested that the O2s were swapped right from th estart - that they didn't consider that is silly! Now you've had to have plugs swapped plus getting it from one shop to another, that cannot have been free....
Everyone screws up. I don't care how much experience you have, it WILL happen. It is how you react that defines your reputation.
I think it is reasonable to 'work with the shop' (ie use discretion in posting, etc) when they are willing to address their problem- but when they screw up, then blow it off- they deserve what follows.

Agree, mistakes happen. But in this case it seems they wanted to make an additional sale and not believe the diagnostics that were pointing them in the right direction. The error code all but told them what was wrong and since it was their guy who removed those parts certainly the chance for an error was there. It wouldn't have taken much time to have at least tried to move the sensors around. True it sounds like at least one was bad but the car DID run previously and it's also possible the O2 became fuel fouled due to the rich mixture. This could have been handled better and everyone would have been happier. P.S. Blaming it on the flywheel and worse claiming it was some sort of known issue are probably at LEAST as bad as not following proper diagnostics. A mechanic who has pulled apart the flywheel and seen the sensor ought to understand that you're not going to get timing jitter from the sensor even if the Dual Mass FW WAS bad! That smells of someone either out to make some money or truly not understanding how the thing worked... Wow, the board software won't allow paragraphs now?!
I did the right thing...just drove my car to another shop and got done with this issue. Bottom line , they did a good job installing the clutch and hopefully the injectors. The way they treat customers is not good..i called them after the issue was resolved to give them a facts run down...the lady just flat out hung up on me. Bad business is all i can say! If they said they screwed up ...i would have taken my X5 in for service etc..
The car was running perfectly okay before i went to this shop. Its simple , they should go step by step and read the codes and fix things. Instead they were blaming it on the tune and guiding me in the wrong path.

The car runs great and it feels faster than before. Overall i am happy with this setup and will leave it this way for a long time. At least that's what i am thinking now.
Thanks Eric , I already did enjoy the car a good bit this weekend.

After injectors mod, any chance to compare with your friend's Tial Alpha28 yet? You should get good run this time.
