I believe so Mark...when the last clutch slipped,revs went up and miles stay there...Now the car accelerates with surges like an earthquake between 4 and 5 krpm...but only there...

 

MAF possible but PSM code is off then I say plugs....clutch slipping would bounce the rev. limiter in 4th gear

 

i woudl change the plugs and while ur down there i would get new coils also.. will save you future headeaches, i reaplaced mine the car only had 17k on it and most of them had cracks .

if you have a boost controller turn down the boost to minimum and your problem will go away usually... and that is the plugs...

 

Yes Mark...at 0,8 or even 1,2 there is no problem...only at high boost...you think i should change coils as well?Should i get OEM or aftermarket?

 

Problem solved...It was plugs...I checked coils as well but they were perfect...Weird their part number starts with 997...Maybe previous owner changed them?Car runs fine and accelerates really fast...next days i will try to beat my personal 60-130 time...(waiting for weather to cool down we have 21 deg celsious here...)

 

The coil packs must have been changed because the part number now, has been superseded to a 997 parts number.
