Koni Challenge spec Hoosier tires. Size is 275/35/18

would that size fit the rear 996TT wheel?

Well... Consulting the handy spec sheet on the hoosier site
shows the rim range for the tire you mention is lower than
the 996tt's rear tire, and that there is no appropriate front
tire... I say "go for it!"
