Ben,
We are having a HUGE Thanksgiving get together (my wife is taking the week off in prep....her family is flying in from all over the country).
You are invited to drop by. Her smokin hot cousins will be there too

Great cars and good looks too. Needs a serious diet to be track ready or keep up with a TT in a straight line. I have video of my car when it was stock, from 10 MPH to 130MPH, he was 4/5 lengths back (at least).

Although 63 is very capable, I think AMG's magic is at 65 bi-turbo engine. I was considering a SL-65 before purchasing the 996. beautifully appointed, lot of torque, but not a real sports car. For example, even when you turn off the traction control, the ECU still is monitoring the wheel spins and kicks in whether you have traction on or off.
Also the 65 was highly modifiable as a number of aftermarket items exist, namely larger liquid-air inter-coolers, upgraded ECU/TCU and LSDs etc.
Good Luck w/ the purchase though.

Tread...do you mean thread?
Thanks to our financial advisers, Bernie Kalletta and Allen Frischberg (a play on Bernie Madoff and Allen Stanford) it looks like we will both be eating dog food...I like the Blue Wilderness, its high meat, no grain btw.
Is any of our money left?

I think they are absolutely gorgeous, and the interiors are second to none. Most beautiful Mercs on the planet, IMO.
That said; I would be bored with it within a week. But that's just me.

Well said! Being bored after a week would be my fear as well! But for a DD, being bored is the norm. Would be sick!

Will still have the GT2. Looking for something to replace the M3.
