Will 18in 543 Hre fit the Brembo Gtr Brakes

I'm in the process of buying a set of 543 hre in 18/11.5 18/9 and was wondering if they fit the Brembo Lemans gtr brakes?

Thanks for your time.

I have Brembos all around and had to use 19 in up front. Marty K had brembos as well; however, I want to say he used 18 in rims for the track? I think it depends on the maker of the rims?

Thanks for your time.

Most 18" wheels will work if they have the correct offset, etc. to clear the extra wide calipers like the Lemans style caliper.

If you can give me the specs of your wheel I can check to see if they will clear. I used 18's and I have the Lemans calipers.

True, it is hit or miss. The original GT2 wheels fit over the 6 piston Brembos.
It all depends on offset, etc. It is best to try them on, period.

Good info from Wheel Enhancement: RE, Brembo

Marty,

There are a couple manufacturers that make 18” wheels that will clear your brakes. The HRE competition series wheels in 8.5x18 front and 11x18 rear are $4,740.00 for the set of 4. There are 3 styles in the competition series, C20, C21 and C22. The standard finishes are powder coated in silver, black or charcoal, as well as brushed with a clear coat or fully polished. Fikse offers the Classic series of wheels which are the FM5, FM10, and Mach 5. Your cost for a set of 8.5x18 front and 11x18 rear is $3,900.00. Fikse also offers the Profil series which are about 1 pound lighter per wheel. Your cost for a set in the same size is $4,310.00. The standard finish on Fikse wheels is called TechniPolish which is a very finely machined finish with a clear powder coating with a polished outer rim. Please call or e-mail if you have any questions or if you would like to place an order.

Thank you,

Alan Baylis
