Dst are you willing to step up and make this right?? simple yes or no .
Is it okay to link to another IB car forum? Forged DST is a sponsor there as well, and it should help clear up some of the history. If not, mods please advise.

so there you have it Jordan was you partner in crime ! Yet you act like you dont know him , reffering to him at that "jordan character" and i quote

""This is true, Jordan and I were the 2 original investors and owners of 360 Forged. Shortly after it's launch Jordan bought me out and I started Modular Concept. When the company started to have backorder issues I felt it necessary to step in with Jordan's consent in order to help the situation. Jordan is a legitimate business man despite all of the rumors and allegations that have spread throughout the internet. Most of the personal attacks against him were brought on by several individuals who we know personally who have tried to bring the company down for their own benefit. The issues that he's faced were out of his control and he did the best he could to fix the problems. He is still involved with the company, however only responsible for product development and design.

More lies ? which is it ? why are you giving 1bad gt2 the runaround ?

It's also fishy that at MB forum, Forged DST claims his name is Alain who now owns and runs the company. He says Jordan is still involved in their company. And now, we have "Mike" here using Forged DST as their username claiming they can't do much about this "Jordan character".. LOOK OUT!! He's behind you!!

All kidding aside, if 360 Forged or whatever the company that took over them is all business like they claim to be, they shouldn't have this much problems all over several forums.

Acting like he (DST Forged) didn't know who Jordan was is super shady. I've followed these threads since the change in management, and won't pile on, but I strongly suggest anyone that's going to buy wheels from 360/DST search as many forums as possible. I will say that new customers do appear to get better treatment than old ones. I'm not sure I'd bet $5G on that, though, if the company hasn't changed, and they merely set their own "do over" point without consideration of those previously wronged.

I'm not sure that you can, unless someone has wheels in stock and the manufacturing process is completely removed from the equation. If the wheels are in stock, I'd also make sure to examine them carefully. To be clear, lots of people have gotten beautiful 360 wheels without any concern, others have never had their prepaid orders filled, and others were delivered products that were not of the desired specification, and in certain cases unsafe. (Search some of the other forums.)

If it's an order, though, the other sources will get the wheels from the same place that you do if you buy direct. If they are just acting as a pass-through, best case, if you get screwed, is that the vendor prepays for your wheels, and they eat the loss. That would be good customer service for them, but maybe not the best business move for a small shop, which most tuners are. At a minimum, they will be put in a bad situation that could wind up as a problem for you.

To be perfectly honest, I thought that these guys may have gotten their acts together, and I would have possibly considered ordering something if their track record was good for a while longer. That post from "Mike" just removed them from any potential purchase decision I may have again. It seems to me that the claim is that a "new" company "bought the rights" to the 360 brand, without assuming any liabilities. This can happen if done through the proper legal channels, usually following a bankruptcy proceeding, and the payment for these rights being passed to creditors of the old company. (Customers of 360) The fact that the staff seems to remain largely unchanged, and no legal settlement that I'm aware of has taken place, makes this whole thing smell quite funny. I truly hope that I am wrong and Mike, Alain, or Jordan can set us all straight. The few responses that I have seen in the last six months have not done so. They design some great wheels, and do some spectacular photo shoots, but that doesn't put wheels on your car.

I just bought brand new 360 wheels from Wheel boutique and received them after 6 weeks built time, right on time as indicated and they are perfectly fine and beautiful looking, i received them last week, so I am talking about a fairly recent experience. I also was a bit skeptical so I went through Wheel Boutique which is one of the major sponsor but also best wheel shops if you ask me, and if they tell you that they can get them without hassle then they are putting their reputation and business on the line, which is like a second guarantee.

I understand the frustration of some and in no way say that what has occured in the past is Ok by any sense, but the matter of the fact is their wheels are great (IMO) despite the business aspect being total crap...so if you can get the great product and someone else takes the liability (in case they dont get delivered) then what the problem with the product?

The reason WB is able to sell you these 360 wheels, is because they have had them in stock, from a large order they had placed from when 360 wheels were popular. Wheels boutique like you said is probably the most reputable wheel shop around.

I'm not sure if everyone knows this but COR wheels is the manufacturer of 360 forged among other wheel brands from my understanding. Why not just go straight to them? Why is Jordan and Mike in " " marks anyhow? Like its a fictional character or something.

I am at a total loss. Why would these guys not be willing to correct this issue? Is $3500 that much money to them? To those of you considering their product...I would be very concerned with their integrity and finacial stability if they cannot deal with this issue.

To me, the problem isn't the product or brand itself. It's if and when a quality control issue comes up, will the vendor help you? Will the vendor even be able to help you even if they wanted to? How can a vendor replace a (hypothetically speaking) defective wheel if they have no stock to replace it with and the distributor and/or manufacturer is non-responsive? At which point, the distributor/manufacturer typically shoulders the responsibility to set the issue straight. In this regard, Forged DST seems to be lacking.

I'm also in the market for wheels. Things like quality customer service, quick response time, effective and direct communication, and assurance that my concerns will be heard and acted on if/when they occur are reasons why I can justify paying a premium for purchasing new, higher end wheels. These are not qualities I'm seeing from Forged DST... my $.02

Anyway, glad that you (and presumably others) are happy with your purchase. Their designs look fantastic! But as a prospective customer, I'm inclined to go elsewhere until Forged DST shows appropriate follow through. Until then, we're lucky to be able to shop other options.

1badgt2, sorry to hear about your situation. Please keep us updated!
