I would imagine it would be a good bit louder outside the car with it down on the ground vs on the lift. The noise will bounce from the pavement! The valves can and do occasionally seize up but I'd hope that the companies making them have improved them over the years. Even if they do seize I wouldn't think it would be impossible to free them again. I cannot see wiring or anything else being in danger unless the exhaust gas were directed towards those areas, pointed down like these I see no issues. Sounds good and having the ability to sound stock with no drone has got to be VERY nice too! Can you simply crack them or is this a binary on off installation? I've seen them setup to be boost sensitive and other things as well, not sure how much sense it makes to get too crazy...
What I meant was can they only be opened up a little or is it binary - wide open or closed? I know some of the kits out there used steppers that allowed for partial opening or control from some other device. Was mostly just curious as to how much control you have with your's. <shrug>
