RR Phantom

Anyone received an invite and went to see the new Phantom today at Rolls-Royce in Los Gatos? I was planning to go but missed it

Don't think convertible's out yet. Just the 2005 Phantom. Not sure what's changed from 2004.

Be sure to notice the no-turn-technology hub caps on the Phantom RR.

Did you invent that? Does it stay "stationary" as the rest of the wheel turn? Sort of like anti-spinner?

Yes, I did, in fact, invent and patent that art in 8 countries. The hub cap remains static and does not turn with the wheel as it has a weight attached to the bottom. I showed this sample art to BMW who fired it back to me and said that they had no interest. As you know, BMW owns RR and that art is now O.E.M. equipment on the Phantom.

Are you going to do anything about this?

Sorry I was note able to post an answer last evening. We are searching for a willing attorney, but in the meantime we are making 200 no-turn hub caps for the late Porsche wheels. We are the world's largest user of Porsche crest, second to Porsche themselves and that is with their permission.

The phantom is one sick car. Saw one in person a couple months ago and it is simply AWESOME. I can't imagine anyone picking up a Maybach(which looks horrible imo) over a Phantom. It has such a presense and looks so elegant

Phantom is the best. I'd love to see a smaller Phantom Coupe. Think it'll be AWESOME.
