Bluetooth A2DP audio to factory radio
Bluetooth A2DP audio to factory radio
Does anyone have an elegant solution for this?
What I would like to do is use A2DP to send the stereo audio out from my iPhone while it is in the car so that I don't have to screw with any wires etc. I imagined either hacking on an AUX input using the port for my non-existent changer, or a hard wired FM modulator.

Kensington has a A2DP kit that's compatible with the iPhone 3G/3GS

You could hard-wire this behind the dash and get the Becker AUX input kit (assuming you've got a CDR-220). If you've got a 2003+, it's going to be more difficult, as the head units use MOST (fiber optic) interconnects.

Brilliant. It's kinda pricey for what it is, but very hard to argue with as a solution. A minor hack to make it a permanent installation behind the radio, use the aux input on the CDR-220 (I have a 2002 so no MOST), and good to go.
