Great video. I'm not familiar with how the whole 1/4 mile run works, but are you suppose to go on green? I am not trying to insult you in anyway, just hoping to learn and understand it. Are you suppose to watch the green light or the four yellow ones on top?

Volare, you're supposed to go when the green comes on, but the clock doesn't start until the car's moving. The reason alex waits is to build boost on the line so he leaves in the boost completely ignoring the lights. This results in a lousy reaction time, but in the grand scheme of things has zero impact on the actual elapsed time of the run.

sharky, take a dump before you go to the track next time buddy

Hehe thanks for clearing that up for me Yeps that is indeed what I was doing. I wasn't trying to get reaction times etc... That will come later on

I know man, I had a massive load of Kentucky Fried chicken the night before. Next time I'm going to starve myself for a couple of days

The reaction time (RT) does not factor into your ET, however it does factor into the winner of the race.

If you don't care about losing to the person in the lane next to you and just want a timeslip then no need to worry about your RT. But who wants to be smoked by a FWD econobox! :-)

Hey Sharky

Do you have NOS? If not maybe you should get one so you break 10's or high 9's?

Alex, have you thought about running alcohol or propane injection? That will almost surely cure your "knock woes" so to speak and allow you to keep the current setup on your fuel system.
