Request for help...

I have done quite a few searches here, on rennlist and on renntech but I am not 100% sure what version of PCM I have, if it is CD based or DVD based if 2.0 or 2.1 or 3.0... When I hit "Main" + "Trip" it says: PCM 3.0 & Software 3.0.

Any help / guidance would be much appreciated!

 

Uh...you have PCM 2 OS 3..it is CD based for Nav....what else do you want?

 

Most of the posts I found said PCM 3 was DVD based that is why I am confused. Currently I think I have a CD for the the maps so am not sure if I have PCM 2.0 or 2.1 with version 3.0 of the Nav software or if I have PCM 3.0 with version 3.0 of the SW.

Is there a way to confirm in fact my PCM will ONLY work with CDs?

 

Yes, you do not have a DVD based nav system.

 

TMK, PCM 3 started with 997s...PCM 2.X uses cds...
