White instrument gauge overlay.

Have any of you tried the gauge overlay products out there? Pelican parts has them for $100. they also have a different type for $240.

I would like to have white gauges but I want it to look like OEM.

I did the white gauge faces from Suncoast. They look and function great but a super PITA to install and get all the needles back on right. My voltmeter is still screwed up but Iam afraid to take cluster out again for fear of messing up a different gauge...

Scott@Radar-Mirror.com is infamous around these parts
Don't own a Porsche but my setup may work. I own a E46 M3 with a HPF kit, hated the gauges on the steering column so I stuck mine inside my rear view mirror.

Gauge overlays simply change the color of the gauge faces - they do not add any functionality. That said - I'd be interested in how to go about adding some readouts to a rear view as well. Something like say a shiftlight could go up there easily - and annoy folks behind me too! Anyway, is of interest although perhaps not great for this thread...
