Looks interesting Lee who is doing the turbos for you, i have been meaning to give Vince at CR Turbos a call to see what he can do for our cars. Ive had a few special turbos built by him in the past including roller core conversions with steal cage unlike alot of the GT series turbos.

Hi Neil, Ant,

I was very excited when I post this pic of the new impeller wheel for the turbos.

Shortly after I had a call from the UK Turbo builder who put the price up massively due to an apparent issue with my turbos.

We had a worst case scenario price agreed which was highest £1100 for the build. He advised me not to worry as at worst case for £1500 I could buy refurbed items.

I sent the turbos to him and a couple of days later when he had stripped them he called me and said it would be £1900.

My Porsche specialist Parr said the issue was 'dubious'

My car is being featured in a well know UK Porsche Magazine soon and I was hoping to have it sorted for this.

I have now cancelled my order with them and they have advised I will get my turbos back 'in pieces' !!!!

However.... Just purchased a set of Protomotive K24/18g turbos with low miles from a 6speed member so happy again

Just got to sort the tune now!

Were they gonna be 18gs too?

When's the car appearing in the magazine?

Could you pm the name of who was ment to be doing your turbos, as im thinking of mibi getting mine converted to 18g next year and would be handy to know who to avoid.

Glad you got it sorted out quickly and good luck with the feature

The original ones were a modified K26 setup.

Car will be Feb/march by the time its published.

Glad I got the Protomotive setup sorted, look like a proper setup!

These were from the original build and k26.

I have gone for K24/18g now.
