How do you compare 996TT and 997.2 though? I'm curious.
My 997.2 felt much tighter in handling, especially when in sport plus mode, it was very close to that of a stock GT3. I had a PDK and if I had to do it all over again, I would go with a 6 speed. But don't get me wrong the PDK is a blast and is the fastest shifting tranny I've driven, but it isn't as fun to drive as a 6 speed.

My 996 tt is pure power, the suspension is a bit soft, but Alex and James at Sharkwerks is going to fix that for me . I also wish it had the option of a sport mode.

wow, I'm glad nobody was hurt in that crash. Thank you for the comparison. I test drove a 997.2 c4s too and liked the pdk a lot but like you said, I would have purchased 6 speed just because they are more fun.

As for 996tt lacking sport button, I just grew a mental switch really quickly.
Hope you enjoy this one without any trouble.

WOW. For a full on impact at 40 MPH, the car looks really good. Looks like it held up really well. Goad to hear that no one in your family was seriously hurt. Enjoy the TT.

First and foremost, thank goodness your family all survived that horrible injury with only minor injuries. Also, welcome to the 996TT family!

I must say that I'm impressed how well your 997.2 fared in the accident too...I expected the photos to be far worse in terms of visible damage.

Enjoy
You got the car that I want! Did you happen to notice if there was another one laying around? Blue is hard to come by.
