side mirrors

side mirrors

broke my side mirrow right off the car... can't remember how i took the oen mirrow covers off (they are now cf.

heres what i need to know 1 how to remove the cf cover
2how to take the mirrow off the car .
3how to remove the offending part that holds the mirrow to the door

the triangular interior piece with mirror controls: pop the bottom snaps out gently, then slide up, there's a downward hook on the top corner. 3 torx screws inside. 2 in plain view, one under the rubber seal under a sticker. the plug, just pull out gently.

will be difficult to remove the CF cover. try fish string and patience. might help to soak it first.

thanks mad will try as i remember my oems were easy to remove they just snap on as i remember??

a flat head screw driver wrapped in duct tape helps get the lower part off, (door open).

no idea on the cf covers, i just took a guess they were stuck on with 3m double sided or something. if it snaps on, then it should come off just the same (gently).

assuming you have cf housing (not the taped on cover) you just need to pull the mirror out (just pull) and the rest is easy
