Question for H2 owners

I posted in OT but did not get much response and I know there is a lot more traffic here. What are people's experience with these?

What kinds of discounts can you get? There seems to be a lot on dealers lots. Thanks

The H2 is very comfortable and fun to drive, but they are gas guzzlers. On a 3 year lease they appx. 1500 down and appx 800 a month for the chrome, nav, and luxury package

My coworker wanted one badly when they first came out so we looked at them extensively and here's my 2 cents fwiw.....If you really want an SUV and will rarely take it offroad, look at bmw, mercedes, lexus, porsche, rover. All are much more luxury oriented and will handle much nicer on the road. Plus you will not bang your knee upon egress every frikkin time on the large obnoxious square door panels. The H2 is a shame to the original hummer name and shares so much in common with the ordinary GM suv that its not worth the cost for what you get. However, if you want a kickass suv with real offroad prowess look no further than the H1 or g wagon.

I hope Allan did not pay that for one of those pigs. Here in the Northeast they are having close to a buy one get one free sale on them. I have driven one for a year one week and couldn't wait to get rid of it. If you have kids they will think it is neat, but an Escalade rides much better and is much more powerful.
