fit on the 996 turbo front bumper.... i know it works on the 997.

Couldn't an experience body shop remove the front bumper and cut the correct sized hole and install this? The curvature may be slightly different but the functionality should be there, unless there is a fitment issue underneath the mounting area.

Would you please post a picture of the part and your source to buy from?
