TESTED - Boost Logic Intercoolers and stock Turbo ICs
The fact that at speed the porsche design helps significantly over what we see on the dyno adds even more into the mix. However, I did numerous runs(in a closed circuit environment, of course) that factored the 100mph airflow into the equation, and the results are similar(based on fueling) to what I saw on the dyno. Flow is obviously also a factor when you are over 550 whp. You have to be able to get the air in/out of the intercoolers efficiently.

Very nice! I do find it interesting when folks try to claim that a larger intercooler will somehow make the boost lag noticeably - when you look at the size of an IC compared to the sheer volume of air moving out of a turbo the assertion is pretty amusing.
Since I suspected you datalogged this all to death... any chance of posting graphs of IAT? Pretty please? Would be interesting to see just how fast the OEM units heatsoak and if the BL units even do so hehe...

Heya BLK...
I do have some datalogs, but it's in an unsharable format so I need to convert it by rpm and load and manually put it on the preverbial paper.
I kinda posted what i saw during the dyno on the first post though... On the street the heat soak was not nearly as noticable as I couldn't make numerous pulls to 150mph without risk. What can I tell ya... I got cautious in my old age

This equation will not be accurate for you Sean, you went from EVOMS IC's to Proto's IC's.I do not think you will see the change as much as stock IC's to Proto's or EVOMS IC's.
Dyno is easier though

How's your car doing with the new battery Paulie?
Justin
After the battery was fixed I went to pick up the car & while driving home I noticed there was not much boost(0.8 bar). Instant u-turn to shop & Akram discovered a broken wastegate rod. All fixed now & I should be picking it up Monday.
Thanks for asking Justin.I would think your car should sell fast,I have seen it in person & it is set-up very nicely.GLWS

Remember I also have the Tuning Concepts Standalone also

I am not leaving
I haven't had a Supra in 6 years, but I still provide data for that platform. THe data I have gathered on the Porsche over the last 13 months is pretty extensive and I am still sorting through all of it. We will continue to release and develop products(some are already even developed) and stay tuned for some cool new stuff! As Powell mentioned, the development continues on his car
I predict 1200whp...Justin
ask and you shall receive... these are the 4.5inch.... if you want to see the 6 inchers, let me know
