This setup is designed to work with the MAF in place as well as the stock filter box in place. It looks weird cause I have the piping for it, and neither is present

no modifications to the bracketry necessary. Only a slight modification to the intake plastic as you can see in the pictures. We preferred to keep the plastics all intact as opposed to deleting them.

Ah, it is now much clearer to me why the upper duct must be deleted to run intakes up there. Seems like there must be a good way to seal an intake with filter in there so it doesn't catch too much dirt with that top duct removed.... Like the looks of the ICs!

you cannot see it in the pictures, but my filters are next to the upper ducting. My wheel well plastics are not installed in the picture, but I assure you I run with them 100% of the time. The filters will get dirty, it's just the nature of putting them behind the tires It's livable though. I cleaned mine once in 8000 miles and it wasn't absolutely necessary to do it then. I just happened to have them out, so I did it.
