Yea right....hit Sushi Ra then the new Club at Hotel Sorella. Daddy got his freak on last night while you went to Applebees and fell asleep watching Dancing With the Stars my geriatric one.
Oh my lord (Daddy got his freak on) that is just outright FUNNY,was Christine in the same room? Please do not come to my side of town & scare all the little girls (or in your case little boys).

Paulie, I went from the B&M shortie to the regular 997 shifter (not 997 shortie). I love it. Still has a great feel without the notchiness of the B&M. Because these cars have cables to shift, you will never have that feel that you do with a real "stick in the box" shifter. If you've never done it, it will take about an hour, and the shifter is about $175 to your door. I shift as fast or faster with the 997 over the B&M and fewer missed shifts.
HAHAHAHA!!! You two KILL ME... Oh gawd...
Peanuts, 'er Sorry Paulie (Sean made me do it) I went from a B&M to the 997 Shifter. Night and day difference in smoothness of the actuation. However, the length of throw is quite a bit longer than the B&M. I was willing to trade it for just how smooth and fast you can shift with the 997. I've driven several 996 SSk equipped cars and they have the best of both worlds... Short travel of the B&M and the smoothness of the OEM stock 997. That's the route we've gone with on my build... Of course I won't get the car back until next decade, but what is a guy to do???
