Visiting NY
some off beat suggestions:
The Air and Space museum on the USS Intrepid, west 42nd street at Hudson river
grants tomb up near 120th and riverside drive
walk up Madison ave from 55th to 86. amazing hi end stores.
Nathans for hot dogs and French fries
Rays' Pizza - all over
bagels. get the large doughy kind
and, of course, ground zero.
enjoy
JB native NYer and proud of it!!

If you are adventurous with food Manhattan's 9th Ave from the 30's to the the 50's has EVERY possible cuisine you could want!! From Asian to Brazilian to Thai and everything in between you will enjoy!!
BTW: IF you want THE BEST Pizza in NYC you must go to Di Fara's!! Located at Ave J & east 16th Street in Brooklyn. An internationally know national treasure!!
